Kendal Library Local Studies Collection
In order to assist with essential maintenance of the Local Studies Library some areas of the collection will be subject to limited access on Thursday mornings from Thursday, January 7th until Thursday 1st April 2010.

Microfilmed sources, family history materials, trade directories, parish specific books and the Transactions of the Cumberland & Westmorland Antiquarian & Archaeological Society will remain unaffected.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

Use CLIC+ to search for library materials, manage your library account and explore a world of information on the web.

To get started simply type in a book title, author or subject in the box above. Narrow your search to a particular resource using the drop down menu.

Library members can log in to access account management functions using your library barcode and password. You can get a password from your local branch or by using the link below.

New Renewals Automated Number
Library Closures
Seascale library will be closing from Monday 8th February until Saturday 13th February. The library will re open on Monday 15th February. This is in order that essential maintenance work can be carried out.

Cockermouth library is operating from Christ Church Mon-Frid 09.30-16.30 and Saturday 09.30-12.30.

Denton Holme library will be closed from 15th February until 22nd February due to essential maintenance.
