Join us at Carlisle Library for an evening with Cumbria based crime writer Nick Brownlee
Burn

Nick Brownlee is a former Fleet Street journalist who now runs his own freelance news agency.
He is also the author of several non fiction books and BURN is his second novel. Nick's debut title, BAIT, was published in December 2008 to great reviews.

Love in the Library
Romance is coming to Penrith Library on Friday 10th July when a whole host of Britain's favourite romantic novelists will be talking about their work and signing copies of their books at two special sessions:

An evening with best selling writer John Connolly

John Connolly was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1968 and has, at various points in his life, worked as a journalist, a barman, a local government official, a waiter and a dogsbody at Harrods department store in London. He is the author of ten books including Nocturnes, The Book of Lost Things, and the Charlie Parker series - the latest of which, The Lovers, is published in June.
Join us at Kendal Library where John will be talking about his books, reading extracts from his newest title and answering questions from the audience. There will also be the opportunity to buy books and get them signed by the writer himself. Tickets for this event cost £3 including refreshments, and are available now from Kendal Library. ...

Cumbria Libraries Interactive Catalogue (CLIC+) is a combined library catalogue and information portal.

Use CLIC+ to search for library materials, manage your library account and explore a world of information on the web.

To get started simply type in a book title, author or subject in the box above. Narrow your search to a particular resource using the drop down menu.

Library members can log in to access account management functions using your library barcode and password. You can get a password from your local branch or by using the link below.
